All about Taghazout

The picturesque village of Taghazout rests on the edge of the Atlantic at just fifteen kilometres North of Agadir with the foothills of the High Atlas rising up behind. Here you can enjoy the sun all the year round.

On arrival in the village you will see the mosque to your right and the main square to your left. The old village consists of fisherman’s houses painted in traditional pink and white which spill down to the sea. At just 19 kilometres from Agadir, Taghazout gives you all the tranquility of a small village and the accessibility of the large city with all it has to offer. The waterfalls at Immouzer can be found by taking the road through the romantic Paradise Valley with its palm trees and river then up into the mountains where you will also find lots of small stands selling fossils and other hand-made products.
